I'm Nicole

At The Restful Body, I help women 40+ untangle pelvic pain and persistent body tension by changing the mechanics underneath it—posture, breath, and movement patterns—so the body can stop compensating and start settling.

This isn’t quick-fix healing.

It’s deep restoration.

Why I Do This Work

Because too many women live disconnected from their bodies and within their bodies — not by choice, but by trauma, pain, or the failures of a medical system. That was me!

I believe our bodies carry wisdom. And when we learn to listen, align, and support that wisdom, healing becomes possible—physically, emotionally, spiritually.

How it all started...

I lived with a body that felt like it was betraying me - pain, tension, misdiagnoses, and the sense that something was deeply wrong—and yet no one could explain it nor get to the root issue.

I was diagnosed with scoliosis at 16, so compensation patterns weren’t theoretical for me—I was living them. Over time, I learned that the body can “cope” in ways that keep us functional, but not well.

Then I found the Cantienica® Method. The precision of it was a turning point: subtle, intelligent work that helped me rebuild my inner support system and reorganize how I moved—without forcing or bracing.

I also added:

Trigger point tools for practical, on-the-go relief

Nervous system care to reduce threat signals and turn down the pain dial

And things changed: pain eased, my system calmed, and I stopped feeling like I was fighting my body.

That’s why The Restful Body exists—a steady place for women who’ve been dismissed, overwhelmed, or told “it’s all in your head,” and who are ready for an approach that is both compassionate and mechanically precise.

I want to share this with all those, who like me suffered in silence.

I trained, studied, and deepened into the work until The Restful Body was born—a sanctuary for other women who had also been told, “It’s all in your head.”

Some fun facts about me...

Love is not words, it is being.

My body taught me to pray—not just with words, but with posture, breath, and presence.

I realign my posture while brushing my teeth. It’s become a mini ritual.

I light a candle in the am when sitting quietly reflecting on deeper matters.

I don't go anywhere without a scarf.

My idea of rebellion? Letting the dishes pile up in the sink when my husband is away.
